Shebak to be guest speaker at Economic Outlook Luncheon

SIDNEY – The Community Foundation of Shelby County in partnership with the Sidney-Shelby County Chamber of Commerce and the Sidney-Shelby County YMCA will present the 30th annual Economic Outlook Luncheon. The luncheon is scheduled for April 20, 2017, at 11:30 a.m. at the Sidney-Shelby County YMCA, 300 E. Parkwood St., Sidney. A complimentary lunch will be provided.

This year’s guest speaker will be Michael P. Shebak III, senior managing director, head of institutional consulting at Hartland.

Shebak’s investment career spans more than 15 years. His experience includes developing investment advisory and managed account products for Fifth Third Securities, and serving as the operations Mmnager responsible for all of The Huntington Investment Company’s brokerage operations related activities. Shebak earned his BA from Wittenberg University and his MBA from The Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business. Shebak is a member of the CFA Society of Cleveland.

As a senior managing director and shareholder at Hartland, Shebak provides direction and management of the Institutional Client Group and is a lead consultant for many of the firm’s client relationships, with a strong focus toward healthcare related institutions. Additionally, Shebak helps to manage the annual review and certification of the firm’s fiduciary practices with the Center for Fiduciary Excellence. Shebak also is a member of the Account Review Committee.

In his free time, Shebak helps tend to his energetic, young family. He and his family are actively involved in his church and children’s school. He enjoys fishing and being outdoors. Shebak also serves as a board member and a member of the Community Foundation of Lorain County Investment Committee.
