Christian Academy to present ‘The Prodigal’

SIDNEY — Students in the Christian Academy Schools will present the musical, “The Prodigal,” in the school auditorium, 2151 W. Russell Road, April 28, at 7 p.m. and April 29, at 8 p.m.

This musical is about a young man who was living for the Lord but found himself being pulled back into the world. He made one bad choice after another but eventually mades the right decisions and was welcomed back with open arms.

Tickets cost $8 for adults, $5 for students. They are available at the door.

In the cast are Noah Joines as Devon, Hannah Michael as Madeline, Alexis Boersma as Bailey, Josiah Kramer as Richard, Michael Toal as the youth pastor, James Paul Adkins as Jarrod, Bethany Abbott as Liz, Nick Wilson as Judge Decker and Garrett Kramer as Officer Davis.

In the chorus are Emma Abbott, Kenzie Bricker, Kelly Curlis, Samantha Faulder, Brooke Fishback, Mallory Inman, Melody Joines, Abby Kramer, Emma Michael, Alayna Milks, Mya Newman and Alyssa Pepiot.
