SIDNEY — The cleanup from the recent storm and frigid weather continues in Sidney.

According to City Manager Andrew Bowsher, the city had several water main breaks, a lift station go down and a generator stopped working.

“I believe they got all those back online pretty fast,” said Bowsher. “We still have work to complete on the main breaks.:

City employees logged 276 hours of overtime during the snow event to Tuesday morning. Crews were working around the clock from 9 p.m. Thursday until noon Saturday. Crews were currently out Tuesday morning scraping and salting.

The worst part of the storm was from Friday early morning until Friday night, said Bowsher.
