Crashes

Quinlan Mikel Stobbe, 24, of Sidney, was cited with failure to control/weaving after a two-vehicle crash on May 29 at 1:40 a.m.

Stobbe was traveling on West North Street when he crossed over the center line and struck a parked car owned by Joshua Malachi Thompson, of Sidney. Thompson’s vehicle was towed by Elmer’s Towing.

• William Francis Grochwicz, 37, of Sidney, was cited with right of way at a private driveway after a two-vehicle crash on May 28 at 3:12 p.m.

Laura Elaine Rutherford, 50, of Bellefontaine, was traveling westbound on West Russell Road near St. Marys Avenue. Grochwicz pulled out of a parking lot on St. Marys Avenue as Rutherford passed, causing a collision. Rutherford was taken by Sidney EMS to Wilson Health with possible injuries.

• Kari L. Egbert, 50, of Sidney, was cited with driving within lanes/continuous lines of traffic after a two-vehicle crash on May 26 at 5:06 p.m.

Egbert was traveling westbound on state Route 47 and stopped due to traffic. Loretta L. Bryant, 48, of Degraff, was traveling the same direction in the other lane. Egbert started to change lanes and did not see Bryant, causing a collision.

• Sheila Marie Bensman, 46, of Sidney, was cited with assured clear distance after a two-vehicle crash on May 25 at 5:41 p.m.

Melissa Jane Young, 50, of Sidney, was stopped on state Route 47 when Bensman turned right from state Route 29 and rear-ended her. Young was taken by Sidney EMS to Wilson Health with possible injuries.

• Joshua Michael Kreitzer, 28, of Kettering, was cited with starting and backing vehicles after a one-vehicle crash on May 25 at 3:51 p.m.

Kreitzer was backing up to turn around on Autumn Place when he backed into a light post.

• Jeffrey L. Gray, 68, of Urbana, was cited with assured clear distance after a two-vehicle crash on May 25 at 10:13 a.m.

Roger L. Weidner, 60, of Sidney, was traveling westbound on state Route 47 and Gray was behind him and rear-ended him.
