Crashes

Benjamin Nicholas Hamilton, 42, of Sidney, was cited with right of way at a private driveway after a two-vehicle crash on June 8 at 4:19 p.m.

Hamilton was exiting a parking lot off of Fourth Avenue to start traveling southbound and pulled in front of Miranda Jo Leach, 27, of Sidney, causing a collision.

• Leah R. Kelzenberg, 23, of Sidney, was cited with disobedience to traffic control devices after a two-vehicle crash on June 8 at 3 p.m.

Kelzenberg was traveling westbound on East Court Street and approached the intersection of South Miami Avenue. Barbara C. Geuy, 79, of Sidney, was traveling southbound on South Miami Avenue and approached the intersection. Kelzenberg failed to yield to a red light, striking Geuy in the intersection. Geuy’s vehicle was towed by Mantor’s Towing.

• Katherine Leanne Turbeville, 28, of Sidney, was cited with assured clear distance after a two-vehicle crash on June 8 at 12:05 p.m.

Colby Graves, 35, of Fort Loramie, was traveling northbound on South Vandemark Road and stopped for traffic. Turbeville was behind Graves and rear-ended him.

• Tyler Slone, 32, of Celina, was cited with operation without reasonable control after a one-vehicle crash on June 7 at 3:49 p.m.

Slone was driving a motorcycle traveling eastbound on state Route 47 when he attempted to turn right into Tawawa Park and turned too fast, causing him to lose control and fall sideways. Slone was taken by Sidney EMS to Wilson Health with suspected minor injuries.

• Patricia Travis, 56, of Sidney, was cited with right of way at a private driveway after a two-vehicle crash on June 6 at 5:09 p.m.

Robert Davis, 69, of Sidney, was traveling southbound on Spruce Avenue and Travis pulled out of an alley in front of Davis, causing a collision. Travis’s vehicle was towed by Wrecker’s Towing and Davis’s vehicle was towed by Elmer’s Towing.

• Richard Barhorst, 78, of Fort Loramie, was cited with driving within lines/continuous lanes of traffic after a two-vehicle crash on June 6 at 8:21 a.m.

Barhorst was traveling westbound on state Route 47 in the right lane and Eric Lee Grilliot, 37. of Sidney, was in the left lane. Barhorst failed to see Grilliot as he changed lanes, causing a collision.

• Daria J. Curtner, 59, of Sidney, was cited with assured clear distance after a two-vehicle crash on June 6 at 6:25 a.m.

Keith Duane Lewis, 29, of Sidney, was stopped on Wapakoneta Avenue attempting to turn left into the Clark gas station when Curtner rear-ended him. Curtner’s vehicle was towed by Mantor’s Towing.
