Crashes

Scott James Hartzell, 34, of Sidney, was cited with failure to control/weaving after a two-vehicle crash on June 13 at 1:47 a.m.

Hartzell was traveling eastbound on East Court Street when he struck a parked car owned by Matthew B. Beaty, of Sidney, and a bridge embankment off the left side of the roadway. Hartzell then fled the scene on foot. Hartzell’s vehicle was towed by Wrecker’s Towing.

At 1:30 a.m. Hartzell also struck a parked car owned by Lucas Ward, of Sidney, on Shelby Street, and left the scene.
