Crashes

Dale Allen Lichtenberg, 18, of Sidney, was cited with disobedience to traffic control devices after a two-vehicle crash on June 18 at 5:55 p.m.

Lichtenberg was riding a bicycle in the left turn lane of the Walmart parking lot at a red light attempting to turn left onto state Route 47 and Earl W. Brumbaugh, 49, of Sidney, was traveling eastbound on state Route 47. Lichtenberg ran the red light and struck the side of Brumbaugh’s vehicle. Lichtenberg was taken by Sidney EMS to Wilson Health with suspected minor injuries.

• Michael James Jones, 58, of Sidney, was cited with right of way when turning left after a two-vehicle crash on June 17 at 3:07 p.m.

Jones was stopped at the stop sign on Lester Avenue and Wilferd Lee Olding, 76, of Sidney, was traveling westbound on state Route 47. Jones pulled out in front of Olding attempting to turn left onto state Route 47, causing a collision. Jones’s vehicle was towed by Wrecker’s Towing.
