-11:16 p.m.: suspicious vehicle. Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle in the 18000 block of Wells Road in Jackson Center.

-3:06 p.m.: theft. Deputies responded to a theft in the 200 block of Main Street in Russia.

-2:04 p.m.: theft. Deputies responded to a theft in the 13000 block of state Route 29 in Anna.

-10:39 a.m.: property damage. Deputies responded to property damage in the 2000 block of Russia Versailles Road.

-7:53 a.m.: property damage. Deputies responded to property damage in the 11000 block of Meranda Road.

TUESDAY

-11:14 p.m.: intoxicated subject. Deputies responded to an intoxicated person in the 200 block of Frazier Guy Road.

-12 p.m.: property damage. Deputies responded to property damage in the 13000 block of Luthman Road in Minster.

-11:53 a.m.: property damage. Deputies responded to property damage in the 300 block of West Pike Street in Jackson Center.

-8:27 a.m.: property damage. Personnel responded to property damage at mile marker 101 on Interstate 75.

MONDAY

-8:52 p.m.: suspicious vehicle. Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle in the 9000 block of Fessler Buxton Road.

-4:54 p.m.: theft. Deputies responded to a theft in the 100 block of East Main Street in Port Jefferson.

-1:59 a.m.: threats. Deputies responded to threats in the 2000 block of Bulle Road.

SUNDAY

-6:54 p.m.: property damage. Personnel responded to property damage at mile marker 88 on Interstate 75.

-2:57 a.m.: assault. Blake Edward Nation, 22, of Sidney, was cited with assault on a peace officer.

WEDNESDAY

-1:01 a.m.: crash. Anna EMS and Fire responded to a crash with injuries at mile marker 97 on Interstate 75.

TUESDAY

-11:31 a.m.: crash. Lockington Fire and Sidney Fire responded to a crash with injuries in the area of County Road 25A and Kirkwood Road.

MONDAY

-11:39 a.m.: suspicious person. Jackson Center Police responded to a suspicious person in the 200 block of West South Street in Botkins.

-7:50 a.m.: scam. Botkins Police received a scam report in the 500 block of East State Street.

Crashes

No one was cited after deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash on July 5 at 7:53 a.m.

Delaney Jayne Higgins, 19, of Anna, was traveling eastbound on Meranda Road and Kennedy Nichole Jackson, 20, of Maplewood, was traveling westbound. Higgins crossed the center line striking Jackson’s side mirror with her own.

• Danny Lee Whitmore, 47, of Lima, was cited with operation without reasonable control after the State Highway Patrol responded to a one-vehicle crash on July 4 at 8:15 a.m.

Whitmore was traveling northbound on Interstate 75 when he drove off the left side of the road and struck the median cable barrier. Whitmore’s vehicle was towed by Big Daddy’s Towing.

• No one was cited after a two-vehicle crash on July 1 at 5:26 p.m.

Frederick O. Parson, 87, of Piqua, was stopped at the stop sign at the intersection of Fessler Buxton Road and Darke Shelby Road and Skylerdale Edward Graham, 17, of Piqua, was traveling northbound on Darke Shelby Road. Parson pulled out in front of Graham, causing Graham’s brakes to lock up. Graham lost control and overturned once. The vehicle Graham was driving was towed by Mantor’s Towing.

• John E. Creech, 56, of London, Kentucky, was cited with assured clear distance after the State Highway Patrol responded to a four-vehicle crash on June 30 at 12:02 p.m.

All four vehicles were traveling southbound on Interstate 75, one behind the other. Creech was driving a semi-truck and failed to maintain assured clear distance while traffic was slowing, causing him to rear-end Joseph G. Crenshaw, 51, of Taylor, Michigan, who was driving a van. Crenshaw then rear-ended Crissella A. Mapley, 78, of White Lake, Michigan, who rear-ended Mark Allen Cost, 60, of Piqua.

The vehicle Crenshaw was driving was towed by Wrecker’s Towing and Crenshaw was evaluated by Sidney EMS for possible injuries but not taken to a medical facility.

-8:54 a.m. to 6:08 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to four calls.

-11 p.m.: fire. Crews responded to one call.

-1:30 a.m. to 4:26 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to four calls.

MONDAY

-6:41 a.m. to 4:36 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to five calls.

-2:58 p.m.: odor investigation. Crews responded to one call.

-8:19 a.m.: carbon monoxide. Crews responded to one call.

SUNDAY

-6:05 to 11:06 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to two calls.

-5:01 p.m.: fire. Crews responded to one call.
