SIDNEY — The welcome mat is out at Gay Smith/Associates. Three new faces … each with a different and unique background have joined to add extra avenues of interest to the current line up of agents.

David Stafford moved back to Sidney from Hillsboro, Ohio, and is coming to company with a background in the trucking industry. Real estate was his mother’s life and growing up in Southeastern Ohio as she provided him with the background and a challenge to “get it done right.”

Clayton Purvis is bringing a youthful approach as a 2020 graduate with his background including the Minster Football state champion team member, 4-H and FFA connections and his family connection to Hillsboro. With a construction background, youthful energy and a “relentless” attitude to take customers and clients to the championship, Purvis is ready to start his career.

Carol Pierce is Purvis’s mom and brings her wide background to Gay Smith/Associates. The Houston area is her home. The company has heard that if you want something done…ask a busy person. Pierce owns the Digital Avenue Advertising Agency and has been a deputy sheriff in Highland County, worked as a registered nurse, is a proficient welder, an auctioneer and is a community minded contributor to Shelby County and the surrounding areas. Pierce’s goal is to make a positive difference to people in our community.

Gay Smith’s agents all have the “go to” attitude and are in the business to help anyone find a new home or sell one, find an investment or help people relocate to the area or relocate out of the area.

The company is located at 216 E. Poplar St. in Sidney, and associates are reachable at 937-497-7961 from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday and weekends by appointment.
