DAYTON – Support the regional blood supply during the heart of winter by donating at the Sidney Masonic Temple Association community blood drive on Saturday, Feb. 17 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 303 E. Poplar St.; at St. Remy’s Hall community blood drive on Tuesday, Feb. 13 from 12:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at 101 Remy St., Russia; and at the Peerless Food Equipment community blood drive Friday, Feb. 23, from 8 a.m. to noon at 500 S. Vandemark Road, Sidney.

Schedule an appointment to donate with Solvita (formerly Community Blood Center) on the Donor Time app, by calling 937- 461-3220, or at www.donortime.com.

Everyone who registers to donate will receive the “Donor Love” hoodie and will be automatically entered into a drawing to win a solar eclipse camping package from April 6-9 at the Hickory Hill Lakes campground in Fort Loramie. Everyone who registers to donate at a Shelby County blood drive from Feb. 13 to March 23 will be entered in the solar eclipse camping package drawing.

Solvita is currently in low supply of multiple blood types. Winter weather and seasonal illness make February a difficult month for maintaining an adequate blood supply.

You can save time while helping save lives by using “DonorXPress” to complete the donor questionnaire before arriving at a blood drive. Find DonorXPress on the Donor Time App or at www.solvita.org/donorxpress.
