Crashes
Melvin H. Howard, 84, of Troy, Michigan, was cited with operation without reasonable control after the State Highway Patrol responded to a one-vehicle crash on March 14 at 2:12 p.m.
Howard was traveling northbound on Interstate 75 when he lost control, causing him to drive off the right side of the roadway and strike a guardrail. The vehicle was towed by Wrecker’s Towing.
• Landon D. Hewitt, 16, of Sidney, was cited with operation without reasonable control after the State Highway Patrol responded to a two-vehicle crash on March 8 at 11:44 p.m.
Hewitt was traveling eastbound on Sycamore Trail in Anna when he struck a parked car owned by Julia A. Homan, of Anna, pushing it into a mailbox and flower bed. The vehicle Hewitt was driving was towed by Elmer’s Towing and Homan’s vehicle was towed by Mayse’s Towing.
