Magalie Belfort Prince, 55, of Sidney, was cited with failure to control after deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash on April 1 at 7:52 a.m.

Prince was traveling eastbound on Dingman Slagle Road when she drove off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected, then crossed the center line and struck a 17-year-old male who was traveling westbound on Dingman Slagle Road. The juvenile’s vehicle lost its brakes due to an axle strike and coasted off the right side of the roadway. Prince continued off the left side of the roadway. Prince’s vehicle was towed by Elmer’s Towing and the vehicle the juvenile was driving was towed by Mantor’s Towing.

• Isaiah J. Thompson, 22, of Lima, was cited with assured clear distance after the State Highway Patrol responded to a two-vehicle crash on March 31 at 9:35 p.m.

Thompson was behind John E. Wildenhaus, 64, of Piqua, traveling northbound on Interstate 75 when Thompson rear-ended Wildenhaus.

• No one was cited after a two-vehicle crash on March 31 at 3:20 p.m.

Dylan Austin McDermitt, 28, of St. Marys, was coming out of a driveway on West Pike Street across from Buchanan Street and Jason W. Calhoun, 42, of Jackson Center, was stopped at the stop sign on Buchanan Street at the intersection of West Pike Street. The two vehicles tried to enter the intersection at the same time and collided in the intersection.

• No one was cited after deputies responded to a one-vehicle crash on March 27 at 11:47 p.m.

Reece Avery Smith, 21, of Maplewood, was traveling eastbound on state Route 119 when she ran a stop sign at the intersection of state Route 65, traveled off the roadway and struck a ditch, cable box and utility pole. The vehicle was towed by Wrecker’s Towing. Smith was evaluated by Anna EMS but not taken to a medical facility.

• No one was cited after deputies responded to a one-vehicle crash on March 27 at 11:45 p.m.

Alexander Jacob Puthoff, 19, of Minster, was traveling eastbound on Darke/Mercer County Line Road when he failed to stop for the stop sign at the intersection of state Route 364. He then traveled off the roadway and struck a ditch, coming to rest in a field. The vehicle was towed by Meyer’s Towing.

• Shaun Robert Stephens, 45, of Vandalia, was cited with assured clear distance after deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash on March 26 at 4:27 p.m.

Stephens was behind Cody N. Fairchild, 26, of Russia, traveling westbound on state Route 47. Fairchild stopped while waiting to turn left onto Russia Road and Stephens rear-ended him. The vehicle Stephens was driving was towed by Mantor’s Towing.

• Kaleb Louis Sharp, 18, of Minster, was cited with operation of a motor vehicle while impaired and failure to control after deputies responded to a one-vehicle crash on March 26 at 4:13 a.m.

Sharp was traveling eastbound on state Route 705 when he crossed the center line and traveled off the left side of the roadway, striking a utility pole. Sharp continued to travel in a ditch before driving into a field. Sharp attempted to reenter the roadway, striking the ditch again, and continued driving before being stopped by law enforcement.
