College, financial aid night set for Monday at New Bremen

NEW BREMEN — On Monday, Oct. 31, New Bremen High School will be offering a College Night Presentation for parents of juniors. The event will be held in the high school library at 6 p.m. and students are welcome to come with their parents.

A Financial Aid Presentation will also be held the same night at 7 p.m. in the James F. Dicke Auditorium. Parents of juniors and seniors from both New Bremen and Marion Local are encouraged to attend, and students are welcome to attend as well.

A financial aid administrator from the University of Northern Ohio will be presenting information on the federal student aid program, including the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Also that day, and next week are student-parent-teacher conferences.

On Monday, Oct. 31, they will be held from 4:30-8 p.m., on Thursday, Nov. 3, they will be held from 4:30-8 p.m. and on Friday, Nov. 4, they will be held from 8-11:30 a.m. and 12:30-3 p.m.

Elementary and Junior High conferences have already been scheduled. High School Conferences will be held as follows: Teachers will be in the commons where you can meet with any/all of your student’s teachers during the evening hours on Monday and Thursday. On Friday, teachers will be in their classrooms and available to conference.

First Quarter Grade Cards can be picked up in the office prior to conferences. Any grade cards not picked up will be sent home with students the following week.
