RUSSIA – Francis Manufacturing is expanding their facility in Russia by adding an additional 42,250 square feet to their existing site. Francis Manufacturing is a family owned aluminum sand foundry with a 77 year history.
H.A. Dorsten in Minster is building the expansion, which will include both storage and production space. Chris Francis, president of Francis Manufacturing, said, “This is something for us to grow into as we continue to get busier and busier and busier.” Francis expects the expansion to be completed in the first quarter of 2024.
Francis Manufacturing Company was established in 1946. They are able to produce castings of all sizes to customer specifications and have customers all across the United States. In addition to aluminum sand casting, Francis Manufacturing is also capable of casting cores and tooling, as well as both finishing operations and secondary operations to help their customers meet their needs.
Francis said, “We are hiring. We are always looking for good employees.” Their employees are cross-trained in a variety of job functions. Employee retention is high – averaging over 15 years.
