CELINA — Matthew and Laura Niekamp, of Celina, announce the birth of their daughter, Bernadette Rose Niekamp, born on Dec. 31, 2023 at 3:42 a.m. at Wilson Hospital in Sidney.
She weighed 6 pounds 6 ounces and was 20 inches long.
She is Matthew and Laura’s second child. Older brother Michael turned 18 months old on Jan. 12, 2024.
Her maternal grandparents are Vernon and Amy Ahrns, of Fort Loramie. Her paternal grandparents are Carol and the late Daniel Niekamp, of New Weston.
Her mother is the former Laura Ahrns.
