The future looks sweet: Local Girl Scouts kick off 2024 cookie season
DAYTON — Friday was the first day for the annual Girl Scout cookie sales. Now through March 17, local Girl Scouts will be participating in the Girl Scout Cookie Program, selling nine varieties of fan-favorite cookies across the greater Miami Valley. The annual event is the world’s largest entrepreneurial program for girls.

Wagner building demolition chugging along
A CSX train passes the remnants of the Wagner Manufacturing building as the rubble is loaded into a dumpster on Dec. 27. The water tower on top of the building was supposed to be torn down this week but the demolition has been postponed for about two weeks.
