SIDNEY — Lehman Catholic didn’t have any problems in its Three Rivers Conference finale on Friday and beat Northridge 42-8 at Sidney Memorial Stadium.
Football: Sidney can’t keep up with Troy
TROY — Sidney put together a good drive in the first quarter to tie Troy but couldn’t keep up the rest of the way on Friday in a Miami Valley League game.
Girls soccer: Sidney contains CJ, wins sectional final 2-1
SIDNEY — Sidney was inconsistent defensively against nonconference games in regular season but contained a persistent Chaminade-Julienne in a Division I sectional final on a windy and rainy Thursday night.
Girls soccer: Anna beats Botkins 2-0 in sectional final
ANNA — Anna was hoping to perform better on defense against Botkins in a Division III sectional final on Thursday and did. They’ll look for a repeat performance on their home field this Monday.
Volleyball notes: Sidney opens tourney play with 3-1 win over Troy
CENTERVILLE — After two slugfests with Troy in regular season, Sidney largely dominated a matchup in a Division I sectional semifinal on Tuesday at Centerville High School.
