USDA invests nearly $4.9 million in clean energy

COLUMBUS – U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development in Ohio State Director Jonathan McCracken has announced funding for 40 projects through the Rural Energy for America Program (REAP) for investments in renewable energy systems or to make energy efficiency improvements. These projects will help Ohio farmers and small businesses lower energy costs, generate additional income, and strengthen resiliency in their operations.

Honda announces EV production in Canada

ALLISTON, ONTARIO — Honda Motor Co., Ltd. recently announced that it plans to build a comprehensive electric vehicle (EV) value chain in Canada with an approximate investment of CAD $15 billion (USD $11 billion), including investment by joint venture partners, to strengthen its EV supply system and capability to prepare for a future increase in EV demand in North America.
