COLUMBUS – U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development in Ohio State Director Jonathan McCracken has announced funding for 40 projects through the Rural Energy for America Program (REAP) for investments in renewable energy systems or to make energy efficiency improvements. ALLISTON, ONTARIO — Honda Motor Co., Ltd. recently announced that it plans to build a comprehensive electric vehicle (EV) value chain in Canada with an approximate investment of CAD $15 billion (USD $11 billion), including investment by joint venture partners, to strengthen its EV supply system and capability to prepare for a future increase in EV demand in North America.

COLUMBUS — Mary Klopfenstein of Delphos has been named Young Ag Professional and ag literacy program specialist for Ohio Farm Bureau. She was most recently the organization’s ExploreAg and ag literacy program specialist. Her new role will add the duties of working with the Young Ag Professionals State Committee and focusing on YAP programming, which provides leadership development and professional growth opportunities for Farm Bureau members ages 18-35.
